The Media Tribe goes to HOLLYWOOD
"The delicate balance of mentoring someone is not creating them in your own image, but giving them the opportunity to create themselves."
Featuring Grammy-winner Tyla, and powered by Indian talent at the helm.
At The Media Tribe (TMT), we don’t just teach the craft — we live it, breathe it, and build careers on global stages. And now, we’re proud to share a major milestone that brings this philosophy to life. Two of our very own — Aman Moroney (Principal Faculty) and Ashish Manchanda (Founder/Director) — have contributed to the upcoming The Smurfs movie by Paramount Pictures, one of Hollywood’s biggest film releases of 2025.
A Global Moment for Indian Music Producers and Engineers
Aman Moroney & Ashish Manchanda at Westlake Studios, Los Angeles
As a songwriter and producer, Aman Moroney co-wrote and produced four original songs for the film, including the standout track Everything Goes with Blue, which features Grammy Award-winning artist Tyla. The track, a vibrant fusion of pop and cinematic flair, was created in collaboration with The Indian Connect, a rising cross-cultural music collective based in Los Angeles California.
On drums for the same track is none other than Ashish Manchanda, founder of TMT and one of the finest Engineer/Producers in the world. Ashish’s performance adds both power and personality to the record, showcasing the depth of musicianship that TMT’s faculty brings to every project — whether in class or on the world stage.
Why This Matters to You as a Student
This collaboration is more than just a professional credit — it’s a signal of what’s possible. At TMT, your mentors are not just seasoned educators; they are active contributors to major international projects, shaping the sound of global cinema and music. When you walk into a session at TMT, you’re not learning from theory alone. You’re being trained by the very minds behind tracks being played in Hollywood studios — with artists like Tyla, and collaborators like Justin Tranter, James Fauntleroy, Stargate and banners like Paramount, in films viewed by millions around the world.
Bridging India and the World
This moment marks a significant step in the ongoing journey of Indian musicians, producers, and engineers gaining recognition on global platforms. With The Smurfs soundtrack, Aman and Ashish have not only elevated their own artistry — they’ve opened the door wider for the next generation.
The Takeaway
At The Media Tribe, the stage isn’t just metaphorical. It’s real, it’s global, and it’s waiting for you.
